“Will sessions still be happening at the Shack?!” This is probably one of the most common questions we get asked now that this project is underway. The Shack isn’t going anywhere and better yet, we decided to add a fun little design feature to the build out… 🪚🌴 For those who are unable to make it to a live Sugarshack Sessions Experience, we will be adding in a back deck replica at Sugarshack Downtown! It will be built to the exact shape and size of the original back deck and will be complete with a Gnomeo so you can capture the perfect picture and commemorate the night you spent with us in proper Sugarshack fashion! We’re stoked on this idea and we think this will add a super fun element to the experience! We’ve officially broke the ice on the inside of Sugarshack Downtown! 🛠️🪚 First up in the initial interior build-out stage is the framing of our bar. This is going to be 1 of 2 bars (1 outdoor & 1 indoor) and will feature a wide variety of drink options ranging from craft beers to delicious cocktails. We’ve been watching this place come to life little by little over the past few months and now seeing the insides take shape has us even more excited. Originally constructed in 1946, this building has always been home to car maintenance and repair shops. However, instead of fixing up cars, we’re now looking to fix up the music scene right here in Downtown Bonita Springs! From the original roof, beams, exterior and incredible oak trees surrounding the property, we have proudly preserved and restored as much of this structure as we could. As soon as we have this historic building up to code, we’ll be breaking ground on all other new structures and you better believe we’ll be keeping y’all updated every step of the way!
